Dumfries and Galloway Hard of Hearing Group is a grass roots, volunteer led charity which provides services for people within the region who live with a hearing loss.

Why Donate

As a charity we are reliant on the generosity of people like you, so please help us if you can.

We offer 24 clinic sessions per month where we provide care and maintenance to NHS hearing aids, to make sure our service users are hearing as well as possible.

For those unable to come to our drop-ins our volunteers will visit them in their homes. We also make regular visits to Dumfries and Galloway care homes, where we make sure the residents hearing aids are properly maintained.

Where does your money go?

Our volunteers in 2023/24 helped 4074 people with 6827 hearing aids at our drop-in clinics. as of March 2025 we have 40 volunteers and expect to see around 4500 people at our drop-in clinics.
