Home | News | Jenny Wells our Newest Trustee

We are very pleased to welcome Jenny Wells to our Board of Trustees.

As someone who grew up with a hearing loss in a deaf household, Jenny is committed to supporting the rights and wellbeing of all those with a hearing loss. She works tirelessly to encourage and empower young people with a hearing loss to live proudly with their disability and to make the most of their lives.

Jenny has worked with ITV (Fixers), BBC (See, Hear), the National Deaf Children’s Society and various magazines and newspapers to create media content to promote Deaf Awareness and in particular it’s effect on young people. (See videos below) Jenny now works as a Youth Information Worker for Dumfries and Galloway Council.

We welcome Jenny’s enthusiasm and look forward to working with her, particularly in our aim to provide more support to young people with a hearing loss.
