Drop-in Clinics

 

The Hard of Hearing Group have trained volunteers who can provide help and support with the following:

  • Tubing, minor repairs, ear mould cleaning, and battery replacement.

  • Advice on how to clean your aids and how to the most out of them.

  • Information and signposting to other services and an introduction to useful equipment.

In Annandale & Eskdale we have 1 clinic that has a social element, this is at St Andrews Church Hall in Annan every first Monday of the month. Please feel welcome to come and join us for a cuppa and a chat, we can offer a listening ear, a friendly welcome and any help or advice you may need about your hearing aids

In Nithsdale we have 3 clinics that have a social element, these are at the following clinics: Locthorn Library – Dumfries, Kelloholm and Thornhill. In Stewatry we have 2 clinic2 that has a social element, this is at Christ Church Hall in Dalbeattie every second Tuesday of the month, and at Gordon Memorial Hall in Caslte Douglas every second and fourth Thursday of the month. Please feel welcome to come and join us for a cuppa and a chat, we can offer a listening ear, a friendly welcome and any help or advice you may need about your hearing aids

In Wigtownshire we have 2 clinics that has a social element, this is at the Smiddy in Wigtown every third Thursday of the month, and at Burns House in Caslte Douglas every second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
